Canadian indie entrepreneurs Arcade Fire wrapped up their fantastic, 74-date tour this weekend in their hometown of Montreal, finishing it in typically classy fashion with a Wolf Parade cover in the middle of their set. This struck true to the rest of the Reflektor tour, in which the band took it upon themselves to play a cover specific to the city they were in, on more than 30 occasions.
Arcade Fire’s epic tour included reworks of Prince’s “Controversy” in Minneapolis, Boyz II Men’s “Motown Philly” in Philadelphia and Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington.
